One of the top reasons landowners state for not using prescribed fire (Rx fire) is pushback from neighbors and the larger community regarding concerns and apprehension towards Rx fire smoke management. An important role of the SPBA is to help educate ourselves and the larger community as to the crucial role of Rx fire.
