NC Sandhills PBA will be Presenting: Carolina Horse Park: 

Saturday, November 21st, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

The Carolina Horse Park (CHP) will be hosting an education session to bring attention to their longleaf restoration. Jesse Wimberley, will talk about RX fire and how the CHP are using it at the Park. Topics include Red-Cockaded Woodpeckers and what we are doing to attract them to the Park, The Safe Harbor program and how that helps landowners, Forest Management techniques, and what the CHP is doing to restore the longleaf habitat on their newly acquired land. The event will be outdoors, under a picnic shelter, and face masks are mandatory.
